3rd Grade Teacher
Hill Country Christian School of Austin | Austin, TX
Healthy HR Partners is supporting Hill Country Christian School of Austin in the recruitment of its next 3rd Grade Teacher. This position will be employed directly by Hill Country Christian School.
Do you believe your work is a calling?
At Hill Country Christian School, we believe education is more than academics. It's an opportunity to help students discover truth, grow in faith, and develop the character needed to impact the world for Christ.
For nearly 30 years, Hill Country Christian School has partnered with families to provide a Christ-centered, college-preparatory education for students from PreK through 12th grade. Our teachers are more than subject matter experts - they are mentors, role models, and partners in discipleship.
About the Role
As our 3rd Grade Teacher, you will play a meaningful role in helping students grow academically, spiritually, and personally.
Third grade is a pivotal year - the stage where young learners make the leap from learning to read to reading to learn, and where a teacher's warmth and consistency can shape a child's love of learning for years to come.
You will build a classroom culture rooted in truth and grace, guiding students through foundational academics while nurturing their curiosity, character, and growing faith. Your partnership with families will be one of the most meaningful parts of the role.
Accountability: Reports to the Elementary School Principal
FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-time
What We're Looking For
  • A committed follower of Jesus Christ who actively participates in a local church
  • Alignment with Hill Country Christian School's Statement of Faith
  • A bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred
  • A passion for investing in young students and partnering closely with families
  • The ability to integrate faith and learning in a meaningful, age-appropriate way

Why Hill Country?
  • Christ-centered mission and community
  • Supportive partnership between faculty and families
  • Opportunities for professional and spiritual growth
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • The chance to make an eternal impact in the lives of students
