Job description

Ware Cs

Assists with adult client 1:1 enrolled in a day program with daily life, social and academic skills and/or behavior management training. Observes and monitors client's behavior and charts observations and incidents. Staff may need to assist with changing. Serves as role model and provides emotional support and feedback to client & their support system.

Will work Monday – Friday 8 am – 1:30 pm.

Ability to observe and monitor program participants' behavior; ability to redirect behavioral outbursts; ability to train program participants in routine daily living skills; ability to work flexible hours; ability to participate in supportive guidance. Must be proficient with computers.

High school diploma or equivalent and six months social services experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess a valid driver's license with three years driving experience (per policy) to provide transportation and have a clean driving record with no more than 6 points. Experience with developmentally delayed population, CAN preferred. Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs.
