Traditional Home Care, A locally owned and operated Home Care Agency, is seeking reliable, experienced direct support professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to our individuals diagnosed with intellectual, developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, behavioral diagnoses, etc.
NOW HIRING: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location: Athens, PA; and surrounding areas
Shift: Part-time
Pay Range: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
Job duties include:
  • Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
  • Companionship
  • Appropriate communication/social skills
  • Light housekeeping and chores
  • Ensuring a safe environment and teaching basic safety skills
  • Meeting individual goals and outcomes
  • Promoting community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.)

Position Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Mobile Device & EVV Requirements:
This position is in compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act, which mandates Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for home care / home health services. As part of this, you will be required to use a mobile device to log visits and track service hours. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones or tablets if not provided and must have reliable internet access to meet these requirements.
