Job description

Your role as an A&P Mechanic at our client's academy is crucial for maintaining the highest maintenance standards for our aircraft fleet. Working with the flight operations team, you will ensure the safety and operational efficiency of our aircraft, demonstrating our commitment to excellence in the aviation sector.

Responsibilities

  • Repair, modify, and make alterations to worn or defective assemblies
  • Follow approved maintenance procedures and consult FAA-approved technical data
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets prescribed standards
  • Perform serviceability tests on repaired components using specified test equipment
  • Complete necessary documentation and submit work for inspection
  • Account for time, materials, and tools used in maintenance activities

Qualifications

  • Current A&P license and high school diploma or equivalent with aircraft maintenance courses
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician on general aviation aircraft
  • Possess required tools for the role
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of FAA requirements for aircraft maintenance procedures
  • Previous work experience with SLSA and Diamond aircraft is preferred
  • Additional hourly pay for IA certification
