Sugar Loaf, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Cook to join our growing team.
Sugar Loaf Senior Living is conveniently located on Mankato Avenue in Winona, MN. We have been helping seniors Age Magnificently since 2012 in our gorgeous 80-unit, apartment-style community providing Assisted Living and Memory Care services. Shifts Available: Part time/FT, all shifts, including rotating weekends
Wage: $17.50-$22.50/HR

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations.
Duties include:
  • Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
  • Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
  • Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
  • Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
  • Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
  • Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees.
  • Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
