Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
  • Support residents in mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Monitor and document residents’ health status and report changes to nursing staff
  • Assist with meals, including feeding and ensuring dietary needs are met
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
  • Assist residents with the self-administration of medications as directed
  • Follow care plans and document activities accurately in compliance with facility protocols
  • Uphold resident rights, privacy, and confidentiality
  • Participate in ongoing training and development sessions

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current CNA certification in the State of Ohio
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to resident care
  • Ability to pass a background check

Preferred:

  • CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Experience in assisted living or long-term care

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
  • Long periods of walking or standing
