About the RoleAtlas Molded Products is seeking a detailoriented CNC Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you'll operate CNC equipment to produce highquality parts that meet precise specifications. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC machinery and other assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
Verify equipment setup before production runs; start up and shut down CNC equipment.
Review order information and produce parts to correct material, density, weight, size, and shape within required tolerances.
Measure and inspect firstrun parts to ensure compliance with internal quality standards.
Calculate optimal raw material yield for machining.
Monitor equipment performance, adjust settings, and assist with troubleshooting.
Report equipment malfunctions and assist with routine cleaning.
Maintain accurate work logs and complete required reports.
Bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble, and/or label materials per production instructions.
Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.
Work independently and provide direction to small groups when needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education & ExperienceSkills & AbilitiesFluent in English (written and verbal).
Ability to perform basic math and calculate volume.
Proficient with handheld measuring tools (tape measure, calipers).
Skilled in CNC machine operation.
Basic computer knowledge, including understanding of X/Y axis and simple programming concepts.
Selfmotivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Training RequirementsPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, grasp, and perform fine and coarse manipulation throughout the shift.
Comfortable working in varying temperatures.
Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must safely operate assigned machinery.
