POSITION SUMMARY Under general supervision, perform paraprofessional instructional activities in the classroom and outside play area; assist in the conduct of intensified learning experiences for individual or small groups of students in assigned programs or grades/subjects; supervise students; perform supportive clerical tasks for students and school personnel; help maintain a positive, safe and developmentally appropriate class setting in accordance with all relevant laws, policies and procedures. This position may be assigned to a variety of school settings

Incumbents are expected to learn student supervision and instructional techniques for the specific area of school service to which assigned, such as special education, special needs, ELL, bilingual, general classroom, physical education and campus assignments. Duties encompass a wide range of supportive tasks for students and staff in the program to which assigned. Substitute positions open for the 2023-24 school year.
