Job Description
Job Summary
As a new addition to our supervisory team, under the direction of the Patient & Nutrition Services Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring various operational functions in the department to ensure effective direction in daily operations, including supervising staff, staffing levels, maintaining quality control, meeting budget goals, purchasing, monitoring expenses and assist the department as needed. Provides leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Assist with supervising the nutrition service patient call center or food service tray line processes and address any complaints, concerns, or corrective actions and ensure infection control standards, safe work procedures and regulatory standards are met.
Hours:
12:30pm-9:00pm, including alternating weekends.
What you will need:
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience in food service operations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
  • Completion of Sanitation Certification Course or ServSafe Certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Excellent computer and customer service skills, effective communication, and ability to work well with others in service situations.
  • Customer-Service call center experience preferred.
