Our Site Superintendents are more than task managers; they are field leaders who drive results, solve complex challenges, and elevate how projects are executed. This role is for a proactive leader who takes ownership of every project's success and thrives in fast-moving, high-expectation environments.


As a Site Superintendent, you will oversee the day-to-day execution of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This is a working superintendent role. While you will lead, coordinate, and manage the jobsite, you must also be willing to step in and assist with hands-on work when necessary to keep projects moving.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Coordination

  • Own the success of assigned projects through strong leadership and accountability
  • Lead subcontractors and field crews with clear communication and expectations
  • Maintain professional client interactions and jobsite presence
  • Identify risks early and implement proactive solutions

Project Execution & Oversight

  • Review plans, specs, contracts, and code requirements for full compliance
  • Manage schedules, sequencing, and daily jobsite logistics
  • Track RFIs, change orders, progress, and field documentation
  • Coordinate trades to ensure smooth workflow and avoid delays

Financial & Operational Control

  • Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain budget awareness and cost control
  • Support change order management and value engineering in the field
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency without sacrificing quality

Safety, Permits & Compliance

  • Oversee inspections and ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite at all times

Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years of construction experience with proven success in a Superintendent or similar leadership role
  • Experience in both commercial and high-end residential construction preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and sequencing
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Comfortable using JobTread, Bluebeam, Google Workspace, and basic project tracking tools
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Professional demeanor with clients and trades
  • Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle (mileage reimbursed; no company vehicles)
  • Willingness to travel between job sites (often up to 1.5-2 hours from Medway; occasional out-of-state travel possible)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
  • Willingness to obtain a CSL if not currently licensed
  • OSHA/First Aid a plus (can be obtained after hire)

Pay & Benefits
