Job description

In-Building Guest Teacher
Location:  Thornton, CO

Daily Rate: $185 per day, full-health/dental life insurance benefits based on working 40 hours per week.  
SUMMARY:  Provide classroom teaching support on a full-time basis to one dedicated school in Adams 12 Five Star Schools.  Will be assigned by school on a daily basis to provide substitute teaching services where there is the greatest need.  
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
- Deliver instructional activities.
- Create positive educational climate for students to learn in.
- Utilize various curriculum resources and technologies to enhance student learning. 
- Manage student behavior in the classroom creating appropriate behavior strategies.
NECESSARY SKILLS AND BACKGROUND:
- Possess or ability to obtain a valid/appropriate Colorado Educator License, or possess a 1, 3 or 5 year substitute teaching license.
