Their duties typically include supervising children, preparing meals, helping with homework, and sometimes performing light household chores related to the children. Having a live-in babysitter can provide families with greater flexibility and consistency in childcare, especially for parents with unpredictable schedules or frequent travel. Compensation usually includes room and board in addition to a salary. This arrangement can benefit both families seeking reliable care and babysitters looking for stable employment and accommodation.
