Job description

Zinober Diana & Monteverde P.A. is an established civil litigation and trial group seeking 1-2 experienced associate attorneys to join its growing Fort Lauderdale office.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in civil litigation and experience in least two or more of the following practice areas:

  • First-Party Property: residential, commercial
  • Third-Party: premise liability, property, auto, commercial auto, trucking
  • Construction Defect matters
  • General Liability and Negligence
  • Coverage matters: policy interpretation, coverage opinions, declaratory judgement actions

Responsibilities may include:

  • Preparing legal analysis and coverage opinions on a variety of insurance policies
  • Draft discovery, pleadings, correspondence, and legal memoranda
  • Handle all aspects of litigation from inception through resolution or trial
  • Prepare and argue motions, attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
  • Participate in strategy discussions with supervising partners
  • Ensure compliance with litigation and billing guidelines
  • Advise adjusters on duty to defend, indemnification issues, and risk exposure.

Candidates should be proactive, organized, and be capable of independently managing multiple cases at a time. Candidates should also be able to work collaboratively with other members in the firm.
