Are you a compassionate, dependable individual looking to make a difference in the lives of others? As a Resident Assistant, you will provide person-centered care and support to residents in our senior living community. You'll help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that truly feels like home — while building meaningful relationships with residents and their families.

What You’ll Do:Provide Direct Care & Support:
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support residents with dementia by providing individualized, respectful care
  • Encourage independence and emotional well-being by honoring daily routines and preferences
  • Monitor resident safety and promptly report concerns
Support Dining & Daily Activities:
  • Assist during mealtimes, including feeding and cleanup when needed
  • Help create a vibrant daily experience through social engagement and activities
  • Participate in household tasks to keep the environment clean and welcoming
Communicate & Document Effectively:
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition or behavior
  • Help maintain accurate care documentation and contribute to care planning
  • Communicate kindly and clearly with families, team members, and supervisors
Be a Team Player:
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
  • Assist coworkers as needed and help maintain a positive, team-focused environment
  • Take ownership of your role and pride in your work
What You’ll Need:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in senior care or dementia care is a plus (but not required)
  • A compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused mindset
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed
  • CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent bending, walking, lifting, and use of proper body mechanics
  • Ability to assist residents with mobility, toileting, and transfers
  • Ability to push carts and perform light housekeeping tasks
