Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a full-time BE/BC fellowship trained Orthopedic Foot/Ankle Surgeon, to join Baylor Scott & White – Temple location

•Responsibilities include patient care, resident and medical student education, research, and administrative duties

•Faculty appointment with the Baylor College of Medicine commensurate with experience

• Multi-specialty employed group of 19 fellowship trained orthopedic surgeons

•Busy Level I Trauma Center with free-standing McLane Children’s Hospital

• Interest in General Orthopedic Trauma Preferred

•4 resident/year Orthopedic Residency Program with dedicated Foot/Ankle resident

•Foot/Ankle APP support

•Guaranteed salary with potential to transition to the survey-based compensation plan after the first year

Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's Medical Center is a 64-bed full-service children’s hospital with 48 medical/surgical rooms and 16 private Pediatric ICU rooms. The hospital has a 24-hour pediatric emergency department, a Level II Trauma center, and an advanced diagnostic imaging center. The hospital offers a pediatric residency training program to prepare the next generation of competent, and caring physicians.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
• Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
