(Physician/MD qualifications required) Gastroenterology - This regional Medical Center in Nashville, TN, is seeking a board certified|board eligible Gastroenterologist to join their staff. About the Position: • Join 1 Physician and 4 APP Practice • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with gastrointestinal issues. • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient history. • Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and biopsies. • Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results to guide treatment decisions. • Manage chronic gastrointestinal conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, and gastrointestinal cancers. • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education on procedures and lifestyle modifications. Collaboration and Communication: • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, surgeons, and dietitians, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. • Communicate effectively with patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and expected outcomes. • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to enhance patient management.
