Position Overview

Wellcure Mental Therapeutic Clinic is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs) to join our team in providing essential mental health services. This full-time role, with a compensation range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, is designed for professionals who are passionate about helping youth and families navigate complex emotional and behavioral challenges. This position is fully remote, with opportunities to serve communities across Texas.

About the Organization

Wellcure Mental Therapeutic Clinic has established a strong reputation for delivering high-quality therapeutic services to children and adolescents, particularly those with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We pride ourselves on our commitment to fostering collaborative environments where therapists can thrive and positively impact the lives of their clients. Our holistic approach integrates evidence-based practices, cultural sensitivity, and community involvement, making us a leader in mental health support.

Work Environment

This position allows for flexible work settings as you will predominantly provide therapy in an outpatient setting, either remotely or in clients' homes. The remote nature of this role enables you to reach a broader patient population, while still maintaining close communication and collaboration with the multidisciplinary Child Family Treatment Team. You will participate in monthly team meetings to share insights and strategies, ensuring all clients receive comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual treatment sessions tailored to meet the needs of clients, either in their homes or through virtual platforms.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address issues such as anger management, coping strategies, and social skills development, while focusing on reducing high-risk behaviors like self-injury or aggression.
  • Facilitate decision-making skill enhancement for both adolescents and caregivers to empower them in managing behavioral challenges effectively within their home environments.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with clinic policies.
  • Engage collaboratively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other interdisciplinary professionals to ensure a unified approach to each client's care plan.
  • Participate in monthly staff meetings to discuss progress, share recommendations, and continuously improve service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on serving children and adolescents, ages 3-20, especially those experiencing developmental and cognitive challenges. This position is critical in providing therapeutic interventions for clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities, supporting them and their families in building healthier interpersonal relationships and enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Must hold an active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license.
  • A minimum availability of 5-10 hours per week, particularly during after-school hours (4-7 pm), is essential. Weekend flexibility is advantageous.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in providing positive behavior interventions and support.
  • Previous work experience with children and adolescents, particularly those with intellectual/developmental disabilities, is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish or Portuguese is highly desirable, as it enhances our outreach to diverse communities.
  • A valid driverโ€™s license and access to a registered vehicle are necessary for any required in-home sessions.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, reflecting your experience and expertise. Alongside a dynamic work environment, our benefits package includes:

  • Comprehensive group health coverage.
  • Annual paid time off to foster work-life balance.
  • Short and long-term disability options to support your health needs.
  • A robust 401(k) plan to secure your financial future.
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your therapeutic skills and career advancement.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Wellcure Mental Therapeutic Clinic, we believe in empowering our employees through continuous professional growth. As part of our commitment to your career, you will have access to training sessions, mentorship programs, and opportunities for advancement within the organization.

Why Join Our Team
