JOB TITLE: Dietary Aide

WORKER CATEGORY: Part Time


DIETARY AIDE WAGE: Up to $13.75 per hour

  • $11.00 - $12.25 per hour, plus $1.50 Weekend Shift Differentials

DIETARY AIDE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Dietary Aide will take resident orders and serve food and beverages in the dining room
  • Set and clear tables
  • Dietary Aide will wash dishes and use dishwasher safely
  • Wiping down all tables and chairs after each meal
  • Reset tables for the next meal
  • Dietary Aide will sweep and mop the kitchen, serving areas and dishwashing areas regularly and as assigned per cleaning logs
  • Follow safe serving and handling guidelines at all times
  • Responsible for taking temps and ensuring proper documentation (hot food/cold food/dishwasher/fridge/freezer/water temps/dry storage) - as assigned
  • Maintain food storage and rotation in compliance with all state/local regulations - as assigned
  • Dietary Aide will maintain all culinary spaces, supplies and food in an orderly and sanitary manner to meet all state/local regulation + food safety code
