About the Job - Core Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on contributor to live event execution, including but not limited to, acting as AD, TD, graphics operator, S&P delay operator, and/or ingest operator; including signal QC and routing
  • Work in accordance with Network and Digital clients with a professional, poised demeanor under pressure
  • Assist in documenting and distributing live event SOPs
  • Attend/participate in client creative & production meetings (when schedule allows) to gather requirements and provide operational input
  • Be a hands-on contributor/collaborator/tester of innovation and implementation of new/revised live capabilities based on new technology integration and client/business initiatives
  • Support digital partners as needed for live events and other endeavors
  • Partner closely with Engineering, TOC, and IT to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues surrounding live events
  • Train live event operators as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum experience requirements:
  • Ability and desire to work in support of a 24/7 environment, including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Minimum of 2 years of live operations or master control experience
  • Broadcast Playout Automation experience
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills, good verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in computer knowledge
  • Must be able to handle high pressure multi-tasking situations while acting in a professional manner
  • This position is considered an essential role. This means that during times of inclement weather, emergencies, pandemics, or when access to the workplace may be impeded, that employees in this position are expected to report to work to support business continuity, unless otherwise instructed by their direct manager
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States

Desirable requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts or Radio/TV/Film preferred; or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Experience or knowledge of global sports
  • Awareness of global television compliance needs
  • Interest in technology and learning new things
  • IT or Engineering experience

Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $38,497.00 - $71,494.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
