Routing Switching information

What is the routing switching process?

Routing and switching are core functions in network administration, where routing involves selecting paths for data to travel across networks, and switching directs data within a local network segment. Network professionals configure routers and switches using protocols like OSPF or VLANs to ensure efficient data flow and connectivity. Understanding these processes is essential for maintaining network performance and security.
