Job description

We're currently looking for a Hopper Utility to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Goodyear, AZ. In this role, you'll be responsible for unloading and loading pellets into the hopper while supporting the company's commitment to food safety, quality, and production standards.
Shift hours are Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, with some Saturdays as needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Unload and load pellets into the hopper to meet production needs and product specifications.
  • Inspect the quality of the product and packaging, and notify the machine operator or supervisor of any issues.
  • Accurately record production data in the system.
  • Communicate when production supplies are needed to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Help out fellow team members by covering for them during breaks or absences.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a zero-accident culture by addressing any safety concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team, providing input on ways to improve processes.
  • Ensure Food Safety programs are followed, reporting any issues to management.
  • Help out with any other tasks as needed to support the team and achieve company goals.

Requirements:
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70 lbs.
  • Strong commitment to following personal and food safety policies.
  • A team-oriented attitude and a willingness to contribute to company values and goals.
