What You'll Do
As a key member of our litigation team, you will:
- Manage a variety of business and commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration proceedings.
- Develop litigation strategies and partner with clients to achieve practical business-focused outcomes.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other substantive legal documents.
- Conduct legal and factual research and prepare persuasive analyses to support litigation strategy and client counseling.
- Oversee discovery efforts, including e-discovery, document review, depositions, subpoena enforcement, and case management.
- Prepare witnesses, exhibits, and case materials for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Advise clients on disputes involving corporate transactions, M&A, real estate, employment, and insurance coverage matters.
- Evaluate litigation risk, settlement opportunities, and potential exposure while providing strategic recommendations.
- Work closely with attorneys across multiple practice groups to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing environment.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active bar admission or eligibility for admission in the applicable jurisdiction.
- 3+ years of litigation experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
- Experience drafting substantive motions, briefs, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and client-service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling business, commercial, or corporate litigation matters.
- Exposure to disputes involving M&A, corporate governance, real estate, employment, or insurance coverage issues.
- Deposition, mediation, arbitration, or trial experience.
- Familiarity with state and federal court litigation.
- Experience using litigation technology and e-discovery platforms.
- Interest in mentorship, leadership, and long-term practice development.
