Title: P/T Facilitator, Family Literacy
Supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of family literacy programming designed to strengthen academic, functional, and intergenerational literacy development for participating families. The facilitator will assist
in delivering Parent and Child Together (PACT) activities, coordinating workshops, supporting family engagement efforts, and connecting families to community resources and wraparound supports. This position will help create
accessible, culturally responsive learning experiences that empower families and promote lifelong learning.
Essential Job Duties
Coordinates and facilitates family literacy workshops, events, and PACT learning activities.
Supports family recruitment, registration, communication, and ongoing engagement efforts.
Assists with the distribution of literacy materials, books, and family learning resources.
Collaborates with school staff, adult education personnel, and community partners to support program implementation.
Provides families with information regarding available educational, workforce, and community support services.
Maintains participation records, attendance documentation, and program activity logs.
Supports planning for family literacy nights, summer reading initiatives, and parent education sessions.
Assists with creating culturally responsive and family-centered learning environments.
Participates in program meetings, professional learning opportunities, and continuous improvement activities.
Supports outreach efforts to ensure equitable access and participation among diverse families.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate degree with 1 - 4 years of related experience required.
