SUMMARY
This individual provides clerical/administrative support to the centralized sales function.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicates and coordinates sales policies, practices, and procedures with department and company managers and officials, customers and the public.
  • Will review and check all mail and distribute accordingly.
  • Will file and keep track of various company records, both electronic and paper documents
  • Answers questions about the organization's products and/or services. May assist in customer service functions.
  • Assists customers of the status of their open purchase orders by providing current will ship dates or shipment information regarding a shipped part.
  • Develops good interpersonal skills by talking to customers and handling their complaints, criticisms and their needs.
  • Will organize and help keep track of office supplies and other company resources for ease of use.
  • All employees are responsible for complying with the rules and regulations set forth by Federal, Local, and State government, LISI Aerospace, and HSE Procedures.

  • All employees are required to bring any known or suspected nonconformance for all company procedures or legal requirements to management's attention immediately.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED, minimum one to two years related sales, marketing or customer service experience required and/or training.
Computer Skills
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and ideally Access or similar database to basic level, Internet and email.
Language skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical skills:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
