Job description

Overview

The AVP, Treasury is a senior functional leader responsible for one or more core Treasury domains, including cash management, liquidity, treasury operations, banking administration, risk governance, or treasury technology. This role ensures strong execution, disciplined controls, and alignment with enterprise liquidity strategy, regulatory expectations, and internal governance framework.

The AVP partners closely with Finance, Capital Markets, FP&A, Risk, Accounting, and external banking counterparties with developing Treasury talent and continuously improve Treasury processes and infrastructure.

This is a hybrid position, reporting to one of our office locations three days per week (Tuesday through Thursday). Office locations include Fort Lauderdale, FL; Coral Gables, FL; Charlotte, NC; or Horsham, PA. We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000, an annual bonus, 401(k) company match, and comprehensive medical benefits starting on day one. Compensation may vary based on experience, location, and other job-related factors. 


Responsibilities

Treasury Operations & Liquidity

  • Support day-to-day cash management, bank account lifecycle, signatory governance, and fee optimization.
  • Lead liquidity monitoring and forecasting for assigned portfolios; reconcile forecasts with Finance, Capital Markets, and FP&A scenarios.
  • Support funding, collateral, and covenants-related activities as required.

Risk, Controls & Governance

  • Design, implement, and maintain Treasury risk and control framework, including audit readiness.
  • Ensure timely remediation of audit finding and control issues.
  • Establish and maintain Treasury policies, procedures, SLAs, and KPIs.

Technology & Process Improvement

  • Contribute and assist with management of the Treasury technology roadmap, including TMS, ERP, and bank integrations.
  • Oversee Treasury-related vendor relationships and system implementations.
  • Drive automation, standardization, and scalability across Treasury workflows.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Lead, coach, and develop Treasury team members; support hiring and workforce planning.
  • Serve as a key Treasury partner to Finance, Accounting, Capital Markets, Risk, and Operations.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives impacting liquidity, controls, or financial infrastructure.

Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of Treasury controls, governance, and operational risk.
  • Experience with treasury systems, banking platforms, and financial infrastructure.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and external parties.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in mortgage originations, servicing, asset-backed financing, or complex financial services environments.
  • Demonstrate success in leading process improvement or system implementation initiatives.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or CFA or CTP strongly preferred.
  • 7–12 years of progressive Treasury or related leadership experience, preferred.
