Job Description Data Management Analyst 4 - Payments Risk & Analytics Location: Charlotte, NC Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week; onsite days are flexible Contract Length: 6 Months Potential Extension: Yes, likely Start Date: August 24, 2026 Hours: 40 hours/week Rate: $65-68/hr Position Overview We are seeking a Data Management Analyst 4 to support a Global Payments & Liquidity Analytics organization. This role will focus on business and data analytics related to wire payments, payment risk controls, data analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business analytics and payments risk, along with advanced SQL skills and the ability to work with complex data formats including XML, delimited, and fixed-width files.

This position will partner closely with business, technology, product, and risk teams to analyze payment data, identify issues, develop reporting, and support risk and control activities. Key Responsibilities Analyze complex and multifaceted data management and business analytics challenges. Develop a deep understanding of wire payment data, payment initiation channels, and related business processes.

Perform analysis comparing wire messages with instructions received through payment initiation channels. Analyze payment data to identify discrepancies, risks, trends, and potential control issues. Liaise with platform support teams representing payment initiation channels.

Partner with Frontline Risk, business stakeholders, technology teams, and product SMEs. Lead discussions with wire product subject matter experts and application business owners regarding findings and resolution. Develop and maintain reporting supporting risk, control, audit, business, and executive teams.

Build and support data pipelines, data transformations, and analytical reporting. Review and analyze complex datasets requiring evaluation of multiple business and technical factors. Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex business and data issues.

Ensure data analysis and reporting activities comply with applicable data security, governance, regulatory, and policy requirements. Work independently on complex initiatives while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. Support strategic analytics and management reporting for payments and liquidity functions.

Required Qualifications 7+ years of business analytics experience, payments risk experience, or a combination of both. 4+ years of experience writing complex SQL code. Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Hive.

Experience parsing and analyzing: XML data Delimited data files Fixed-width data files Proven analytical thinking and complex problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data inconsistencies and business risks. Experience developing data pipelines, data transformations, and reporting for business analysts and executives.

Experience working with complex business and data-related problems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with payments, wires, payment risk, or financial services.

Knowledge of payment products and services. Knowledge of wholesale banking. Experience supporting wire payment processes and initiation channels.

Experience supporting risk controls, audit reporting, or financial crime-related processes. Experience consulting with business and technology partners on complex issues. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

Experience managing multiple complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and change management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Experience translating complex data findings into clear business recommendations.
