Job description

Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a Controls Engineer to support the development of liquid cooling test racks and control panels. This role will focus on PLC programming, HMI development, and system integration for leak detection and automated control systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and program PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Schneider).
  • Design and implement HMI interfaces for system monitoring and control.
  • Integrate sensors and control logic for liquid cooling and leak detection systems.
  • Support panel build, testing, and commissioning activities onsite.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize control systems.
Essential Skills
  • 8-10 years of experience in controls engineering.
  • Strong PLC programming skills (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Schneider Electric).
  • Experience in HMI development.
  • Familiarity with industrial control panels or test systems.
  • Knowledge of I/O systems, sensors, and automation hardware.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with cooling systems, CDUs, or fluid systems.
  • Experience in commissioning and startup processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, urgent project environment.
Work Environment

This position offers a primarily remote work environment, with the requirement to be onsite for 2-3 weeks for panel build activities. The role provides potential for a full-time position upon successful project completion or extension to other teams and projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72.00 - $110.00/hr.
