Summary/Objective:

The Production Scheduler will be responsible for the management of production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery of customer orders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   1. Analyze sales order releases with respect to the capacity planning and material requirements.
  2. Complete shipping information and delivery date input.
  3. Order floor stock with shelf-life material for production.
  4. Interface with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues.

Working Conditions:

  1. Primarily working indoors, office environment.
  2. May sit for several hours at a time.
  3. Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
  4. Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.

Qualifications:

List all education & experience required for the role. Include years of experience with specific requirements.

  1. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED but need to have the ability to read and type.
  2. Computer proficiency in computer programs like Excel spreadsheets and Word documents.

This is a full-time salary position, and hours of work and days are decided by production and the Plant Manager

Preferred Education and Experience:

  1. Associates Degree
  2. 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Knowledge of AX and or Navision is helpful but not required.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
