The Maintenance Attendant supports the overall operation of the hotel by maintaining the property, ensuring a safe and inviting environment for guests and team members alike. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to guest satisfaction, the Maintenance Attendant completes routine repairs and preventative maintenance with efficiency and professionalism, contributing to the charm and functionality that define Main Street Hospitality properties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.

  • Respond promptly to guest and team member maintenance requests and prioritize tasks to ensure minimal disruption.

  • Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify and address any maintenance needs proactively.

  • Partner with leadership to ensure all safety and compliance standards are met, including OSHA regulations.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop and storage areas.

  • Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment.

  • Support capital improvement projects and renovations as needed.

  • Assist in snow removal, landscaping, and other seasonal tasks to keep the property well-maintained year-round.

  • Uphold Main Street Hospitality's core values by providing thoughtful, guest-centric service.

Education & Experience:
  • Prior experience in general maintenance, preferably in a hospitality environment.
