Job description

The Lion Brewery is dedicated to providing consistently high-quality specialty products and services to our contract packing customers, wholesalers, retail distributors, and especially our consumers! The Lion Brewery is seeking a highly motivated, goal driven qualified candidate for Front Dock/CDL position. If you are looking for a fast-paced manufacturing job, then we are the place for you!
Your main responsibilities will be to:
  • Perform daily inspections of the tractor and trailers, maintain proper fluid levels, and report mechanical problems
  • Learn, adhere to, and train others to SOP’s, CBA’s, and safety procedures related to the job
  • Perform daily upkeep tasks around the facility adhering to the work order system
  • Cross train on forklift and other packaging machines in order to help maintain production efficiency
  • Report to production supervisor for daily assignments
  • Maintain sufficient supplies to all production lines, maintain production documentation, load orders, unload trailers, jockey trailers
  • Follow GMP protocols including keeping trailer doors and dock doors closed, completing yard inspections to assure compliance
Qualified applicants will possess:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Self-motivation
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced changeover environment
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Availability to work 3rd, shift
  • Valid Class “A” License
  • Clean driving record
  • Valid CDL “A” medical certificate
  • Minimum of 1 year of CDL driving experience
  • HAZMAT endorsement
  • Computer skills
