Position: Entry-Level Test Technician with Python & Linux

Location: El Paso, TX

Pay Rate: $21.50/hour (Day Shift & Training)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Minimum Commitment: 6 Months + Possible extension

Minimum Requirement: Bachelor's degree/Associate Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

 

Job Description

Our Client is seeking motivated, entry-level Linux & Python Engineers to join our team in El Paso, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field who are looking to build a career in Linux systems and Python development.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Linux operating systems and Python programming, along with a strong willingness to learn in a fast-paced technical environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Linux-based systems and perform basic troubleshooting.
  • Write, modify, and maintain Python scripts for automation and operational tasks.
  • Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
  • Assist senior engineers with system maintenance and technical projects.
  • Document processes, procedures, and technical findings.
  • Follow operational and security guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.

Qualification Required:

  • Bachelor's degree/Associate Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Basic experience with Python programming.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and commit to a minimum of six months.

  • Sunday–Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

B Shift

  • Sunday–Tuesday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM

C Shift

  • Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Thursday–Saturday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

D Shift

  • Wednesday: 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM
  • Thursday–Saturday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
