Basic Qualifications
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience.
Clearance Requirements:
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers' missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar and everything in between.
As an Advanced DevOps Specialist (Adv IT Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer), you'll serve as a front-line interface to users with technical issues by conducting systems analysis and development to keep systems current with changing technologies. Your duties will include maintaining and advancing a DevOps infrastructure which is used by numerous Programs at GDMS. Your duties may include installing new software, troubleshooting, granting permissions to applications. You'll also be responsible for the day-to-day support of server services by performing server administration for physical and virtual server operating systems and configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting of physical and virtual hardware and network related interfaces on servers. You will also perform OS and vendor software patching on servers and monitor physical and virtual servers performance using monitoring tools.
The Limited Access Area (LAA) - IT Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer is the link between our customers and engineering teams. In this role you will help define requirements, architectures, and engineer for our sub-surface, and surface IT systems.
This position will 100% on site. Remote work woll not be an option.

What you bring to our team:
  • A Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, a related specialized area or field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. You may also bring equivalent relevant experience and certifications.
  • An advanced knowledge of RedHat Linux, VMware vSphere, application environments and related technologies.
  • Proficient knowledge of software tools supporting Integrated Development Environments (IDE), version control, defect reporting and scripting.
  • Proficient with developer tools/concepts/scripting/methodologies - JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, Docker, Anisble, Vault, Python, Powershell, Bash.
  • Define and build the different development, testing, and production environments.
  • Work on fully automated pipelines which build, deploy, and test across multiple environments.
  • An ability to architect, deploy and continuously maintain secure, reliable and flexible best practice infrastructures and systems.
  • Experience with implementing Linux/Windows security controls to maintain system compliance.
  • Subject Matter Expert in researching and troubleshooting complex technical issues.

  • Applicant must meet DoD 8570.1 certification requirements for IAT-II or higher. You must complete CompTIA Security+ certification minimum within 60 days of hire.
