Oracle Apps DBA (EBS R12.2) – Platform Migration Specialist Louisville, KY

Duration: Full time / Contract

Rate: $45 to $50/Hr

Salary: $90 to $95 K + (5 to 10% QPLC)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Apps DBA (R12.2) with strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite administration and platform migrations, specifically migrating environments from Oracle Linux to Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8). The candidate must have proven experience delivering 3–4 end-to-end migrations and managing complex enterprise EBS environments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Oracle EBS R12.2 environments (installation, configuration, cloning, patching)

Execute OS migrations (Oracle Linux to RHEL 8) including planning, execution, and validation

Perform database administration (backup/recovery, RMAN, tuning)

Execute ADOP online patching cycles

Perform cloning and environment refresh activities

Troubleshoot application and database performance issues

Implement automation scripts for monitoring and maintenance

Mandatory Skills

Oracle EBS R12.2 Administration

Minimum 3–4 migration projects (Linux platform migrations)

Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c) and newer versions

ADOP online patching

Multi-node EBS architecture

Additional Relevant Skills

Experience with WebLogic Server administration

Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) and Forms/Reports Services
