Position: Datacenter Technician / Linux Admin
Location: San Jose, CA
Contract role
Seeking a candidate with 3 to 4 years of experience in network cabling, RACK setup in data centers, and server installation
Proficiency in Linux is essential
Knowledge of OpenStack and GPU technologies highly desirable
Duties include network cabling tasks, RACK setup, server installation and maintenance, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate servers and networking equipment
Maintenance of network configurations, equipment installations, and troubleshooting procedures documentation
Staying updated with latest data center infrastructure technologies and industry trends
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems is mandatory
Familiarity with data center operations and infrastructure industry standards and best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
