Job description

Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is seeking a Systems Engineer III to support development and integration of advanced U.S. Navy tactical systems in Huntsville, AL.
This position is fully on-site in Huntsville, AL. A current, active security clearance that is at least secret level (or higher) is required.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead or support development and modification of complex systems and subsystems
  • Perform advanced systems engineering analysis and design activities
  • Manage and decompose system requirements into implementable components
  • Conduct system performance modeling and analysis (MATLAB)
  • Support and lead system integration and hardware/software integration & test
  • Perform system verification and validation activities
  • Troubleshoot complex system-level issues and drive resolution
  • Collaborate across engineering teams to support system design and implementation
  • Contribute to embedded systems development efforts
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5-7 years of systems engineering experience
  • Strong experience in systems design, development, and integration
  • Experience with real-time systems development (minimum ~3 years)
  • Experience with programming or scripting (3rd/4th generation languages)
  • Strong understanding of requirements management and system decomposition
  • Experience working with DOORS
  • Experience working in a Linux and Agile environment
Experience with the following tools are a plus:
  • Experience with MATLAB and system performance modeling
  • Experience with hardware/software integration and testing
  • Familiarity with embedded systems design
  • Experience supporting system-level verification and validation
  • Exposure to defense or tactical systems environments
