MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Fallon Range Training Complex (FRTC) Systems Administrator I to join our team in Naval Air Station (NAS) Fallon, NV. This position is on-site 5 days a week.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides technical expertise in the management of a public and/or private network; tests and analyzes network facilities, including network control software, routers, switches, lines, modems, adapters and servers 

  • Installs, supports and/or maintains LANs and/or WANs; evaluates and recommends networking product and software upgrades 

  • Performs technical analyses of software, hardware and transmission facilities using various diagnostic tools in support of efficient network operations 

  • Monitors data traffic and controls network resource performance to ensure high-quality transmission 

  • Identifies, diagnoses and resolves technical problems related to network failure/integrity and usage of PC hardware and software. Requires specialized skills or is multi-skilled developed through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience

  • Completes work with a limited degree of supervision   

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (4 years of experience can be substituted for a degree)

  • 0+ years of information technology experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Science Degree in Information Technology or related field.

  • Familiarity with the United States Navy preferred.

  • Experience with NSWC Corona RS Division and NCTE

Clearance Requirements

  • Must have a current/active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS.

Physical Requirements

  • 10% travel anticipated.

  • Work will require movement from ManTech Site to Government for client meetings and support functions. 

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which involve delivering presentations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $94,800.00-$157,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  In addition, MANTECH invests in its employees beyond just compensation.  MANTECH's benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, short-term and long-term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
