Job Type: Full-Time

Target Salary Range*: $110,000 - $160,000

*This represents the potential salary range for this position depending on education level, years of experience and/or certifications in addition to other position specific requirements which may impact salary


Position Overview:

The Amatriot Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux admin to work with our
dynamic team of IT professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud
environments, an understanding of cloud services, and a strong Linux command line
understanding. Looking for candidates with some variety of the skills listed below.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Workstation and Server support:
    • Local Linux Desktop support
    • Support local and remote “Cloud-in-a-box” infrastructure (Nutanix)
    • Comfortable with hardware deployments and troubleshooting
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management:
    • Manage and Maintain cloud-based resources (AWS)
    • IPA
    • Puppet
    • Documenation
  • Network Support:
    • Support troubleshooting efforts for our cloud base network infrastructure
    • Support/troubleshoot local network issues

Qualifications:Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in server/desktop Linux system administration and network
    troubleshooting.
Skills:
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies
  • Experience navigating Linux Command Line
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
Certifications:
  • Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent / higher)

Preferred Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of Puppet, IPA, Kubernetes
    • Experience or understanding of Cloud in a Box Solutions
    • Experience with Ansible and Scripting
