Description
We are seeking aSoftware Integration Engineer who shall be responsible for the installation, configuration, and sustainment of various operational services such as GitLab, Wiki, Nexus, and JFrog's Artifactory as part of the CASA Compute Environment (CCE).
Clearance
A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment or the individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
Required skills:
  • Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux suite of tools
  • Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python to automate administrative tasks and workflows
  • Experience performing Linux System Administration including installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS products, packages, and libraries
  • Experience sustaining mission applications deployed in a Linux environment
  • Experience using Git for source control of system configurations
  • Experience creating CI/CD pipelines/workflows using GitLab CI
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
Desired skills:
  • Experience installing, configuring, and managing package registry COTS products such as Sonatype Nexus, PyPy, GitLab, JFrog Artifactory, etc
  • Understanding of software packaging frameworks (maven, pypi, npm, etc.) and their associated artifacts
  • Experience deploying containerized services under Kubernetes orchestration
  • Experience with interacting/training external customers
  • Experience with IaC principles and automation tools such as Ansible
