Technical Expert/Functional Expert - (HPC)
Clearance: TS/SCI - Polygraph required
Position ID: 21-03-34-TEFE-HPC
Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland
Description:
Provide Tier 4 HPC support to NSAW and UDC sites.
Position Required Skills:
  • Configuration, tuning, testing and advanced level troubleshooting and support of high-performance file systems such as XFS, GPFS and Lustre.
  • Advanced level troubleshooting and support of HPC farm systems and associated applications such as Nagios, xcat, failover software, and compilers.
  • Working knowledge of HPC MPP systems.
  • Configuration, tuning, testing and advanced level troubleshooting and support of distributed computing tools such as RES, LSF, and SLURM.
  • Configuration, tuning, testing, and advanced level troubleshooting of RedHat and Suse operating systems.

TEFE-HPC Qualifications:
10 years' experience (with degree or 15 without) in a large and complex IT environment providing industry and government recognized functional expertise with the skills listed above.
Salary Range: $201k-$246k (Annually)
The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
