Overview of position: The work is on-site at Scott AFB. Shall provide network analysis and design services to engineer, evaluate, and recommend new technologies to meet requirements and optimize network/system performance. A Secret clearance and be a US citizen to be considered for the position. Responsibilities: · Responsible for enterprise network designs, solutions, installation, configuration, operations, and maintenance of a variety of network equipment and architectures. (i.e. Network analysis and design, system integration. Responsible for troubleshooting, testing, scripting, TCP/IPv4/6, Ethernet, ISDN/BRI/PRI, commercial SATCOM, and various other communications and network protocols, VLANs, VPN.) · Maintains data encryption, network management, information systems/network security, routers, switches, TCP accelerators, VoIP devices, Voice Exchange Appliances, firewalls, Windows and Linux/Unix servers, virtualized environments (VMWare). Qualifications Equipment/Tool Familiarity: · Cisco routers and switches · Sonus/Ribbon VX appliances (SHOUT) · General Dynamics TACLANE KG 175 series · Palo Alto · Cisco voice technologies – Cisco CUCM/Cisco CUBE/Call manager express · Network monitoring and auditing – Splunk/Solarwinds · Cisco WAAS data accelerators · VPN’s, Sourcefire network defense sensors, Intrusion Prevention system, · VMWare servers · Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) · Spectracom Secure Sync (NTP Servers) Technical Skills: · Experience with complex hub and spoke networks (DMVPN, P2P Tunnels) · Routing protocols – BGP/OSPF/EIGRP · MPLS familiarity and concepts – L3VPN/L2VPN · Encryption – IPSEC Tunnels · Ability to document and diagram network architectures · Voice protocols – SIP/RTP · Network design · Desired - Experience with network automation - Python/Ansible/Nornir Education: · BA/BS+ 7 years of experience Certifications: · CCNP Required · IAT II certification required · Desired: CCIE, CISSP, Palo Alto certifications, Cisco voice/security certifications Clearance: · A Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship are required to be considered for the position.
