Role: Linux Admin
Location: ~Indianapolis, IN~
Duration: 6 months
Role Descriptions: Linux Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong L3-level expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Strong clustering knowledge, automation experience using Ansible.
Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and strong collaboration skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
โ€ข Provide L3-level support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems in mission-critical environments.
โ€ข Troubleshoot complex OS, performance, storage, network, and application-level issues.
โ€ข Manage and support Red Hat Cluster environments ensuring high availability and business continuity.
โ€ข Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
โ€ข Automate system administration and configuration management tasks using Ansible.
โ€ข Implement system hardening, patching, upgrades, and security best practices.
โ€ข Work on system performance tuning and capacity planning.
โ€ข Collaborate with application, network, storage, and security teams.
โ€ข Support cloud-based Linux workloads in AWS (EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM โ€“ good to have).
โ€ข Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24x7 production support.
โ€ข Prepare and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
