Qualifications

2nd shift position with typical hours from 1pm-10am Mountain Time

24x7x365 on-call rotation availability is required

Minimum eight years of system administration experiences in Red Hat LINUX

The LINUX System Administrator is responsible for the operation, maintenance and 24x7x365 support of the high availability server/database/SAN platforms located in both local & remote Data Centers across multiple time zones.

Supports daily operations including monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, capacity management, provisioning, hardware and software configuration, patching, upgrades and performance monitoring/tuning

Administers multiple systems including regular after-hour & weekend supports and 24x7x365 in a 99.999% uptime environment

Composes clear and concise system documentation and reports Minimum Qualifications: ? Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Minimum eight years of system administration experiences in Red Hat LINUX ? Additional two years of technical experiences or one of the following certifications: LINUX LPIC, Red Hat RHCSA, Red Hat RHSE Required Experiences:

Expert knowledge with LINUX (Redhat) administration, in-depth knowledge of RedHat based distros Familiarity with a multitude of OSS tools and utilities for managing, monitoring and troubleshooting Linux infrastructure and networks

LINUX/UNIX shell scripting

Expert knowledge of system administration of HP C7000 blades, DL380 and DL580 servers ? Experience with supporting Oracle SQL database including Oracle RAC cluster implementation on SAN platforms

Strong knowledge of SAN architectures and Fibre Channel protocols ? Experience administering servers, backup operations, and systems monitoring in multiple and complex network server environments

Experience with Datacenter Migrations, Server upgrades, O/S and firmware patching ? Expert troubleshooting and diagnostic skills and providing support to Operations personnel ? Experience supporting mission critical systems 24x7x365 including regular on-call for after-hour and weekend support

  • Experience with meeting high-availability (99.999% uptime) SLAs.

Experience with business continuity / disaster recovery failover/failback and runbook documentation Ability to prioritize multiple assigned tasks and execute parallel tasks in a high-pressure environment Experience with cyber security, server hardening and DMZ deployment

Strong writing and communication skills ? Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook

Must be able to perform duties with minimum supervision, and participate in cross-functional projects as scheduled Desired Skills/Certifications: One or more LINUX/Database/SAN/Server/OS certifications
