Job Summary:
SG Cap Trading, LLC is a boutique technology company that leverages technology and big data to tackle financial challenges. They are seeking a Linux Systems Engineer to develop and maintain automation scripts, build monitoring solutions, and support infrastructure management in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Python automation scripts for infrastructure management.
• Build monitoring solutions using open-source tools.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code with Ansible.
• Troubleshoot Linux system issues and assist with hardware maintenance.
• Set up desktops, laptops, and virtual machines (Linux, Windows, Mac).
• Support SQL database management, including queries and table creation.
• Design and document scalable infrastructure solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proficiency with Linux command line environments (Ubuntu/Debian, CentOS/RHEL)
