Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with 12+ years of experience in SAP administration, installation, upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and system monitoring. The ideal candidate should have expertise in managing SAP landscapes, troubleshooting issues, transport management, and supporting SAP environments across ECC, BW, Solution Manager, and S/4HANA systems.

Required Skills:

  • 12+ years of SAP Basis administration experience.
  • Experience with SAP ECC, BW, Solution Manager, and S/4HANA environments.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP installation, upgrades, kernel patching, and system refresh activities.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP transport management (STMS), client copies, and system monitoring.
  • Experience in performance tuning, workload analysis, and troubleshooting SAP application issues.
  • Knowledge of SAP HANA and Oracle databases.
  • Experience with user administration, authorizations, and security concepts.
  • Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, and system monitoring tools.
  • Experience with backup and recovery procedures and high availability concepts.
  •  Knowledge of operating systems (Linux/Unix, Windows) and database administration basics.

  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams during projects and production support.
  • Ensure system availability, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Participate in on-call support and maintenance activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP HANA Administration.
  • Exposure to SAP Fiori and SAP Gateway administration.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based SAP deployments (RISE with SAP, AWS, Azure).
  • SAP Basis or SAP HANA certifications are a plus.
