The Systems Administrator provides mid-level infrastructure and systems administration support for the client systems. This role assists with Windows/Linux administration, virtualization operations, baseline configuration maintenance, patch validation, account management, and routine troubleshooting required to sustain mission-critical FM systems. The System Administrator works under senior technical direction and supports configuration integrity, system availability, and compliance with sustainment and cybersecurity directives.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
The ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Secret level.
Required Certification at the DoD 8410 WRC 722, Intermediate level - GMON, SecurityX/CASP+, CCISO, CCSP, CGRC/CAP, CISSO, Cloud+, GCSA, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP
Must comply with cybersecurity patch directives (IAVA, TCNO, NOTAM) and sustainment processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Perform routine Windows and Linux systems administration, including system configuration, patch application, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Support virtualization environments (e.g., Nutanix) by assisting with VM provisioning, configuration, and performance checks.
  • Maintain system configuration baselines, ensuring updates are properly documented and aligned with approved engineering changes.
  • Implement and assist in validating patch engineering requirements associated with IAVA, TCNO, and NOTAM directives.
  • Provide entry level diagnostic support, contribute to root cause investigations, and escalate complex issues to senior engineers.
  • Assist in maintaining test and development environments, supporting patch testing, configuration control, and test data accuracy.
  • Support service account management, directory services configuration, and routine system administration tasks.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation, configuration records, and sustainment artifacts in accordance with PWS configuration management expectations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five(5) yeares of related IT or cybersecurity systems support experience.
