About Linklaters: Linklaters is a leading international law firm, working with prestigious clients on cutting-edge global legal matters. Our leading globally recognized International Arbitration practice plays a crucial role in resolving complex cross-border disputes through arbitration, benefiting from a dedicated team of experts renowned for their experience and strategic approach.
Role Overview: We are seeking a highly collaborative, motivated and detail-oriented law student for an externship in our International Arbitration practice. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and challenging environment, working alongside leading international arbitration practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research on arbitration laws, procedures, and cases.
• Drafting: Aid in drafting legal memoranda, briefs, and submissions for ongoing arbitration cases.
• Document Review: Assist in analyzing key arbitration documents, including submissions, witness statements, and awards.
• Case Management: Support the team in organizing case files, managing document discovery, and preparing for hearings.
• Client Interaction: Participate in meetings and calls with clients and outside counsel (as appropriate) and assisting with case strategy discussions.
