Job description
The Department of Linguistics at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, invites applications for a new full-time, tenure-track position, beginning August 29, 2022. Candidates either at the assistant or associate professor level will receive equally strong consideration for hire, as will candidates who are currently completing their PhD (PhD degree must be awarded before the start of the appointment). We strongly encourage applications from candidates interested in developing and teaching courses that examine minoritized language varieties and their users, for instance the language varieties found in African American communities.
