Job Description

Westgate Resorts - Industrial Laundry Facility located in Sevierville is currently seeking experienced and driven Laundry Attendants to join our rapidly growing team.

The Laundry Attendant folds, sorts, and organizes linen and laundry room inventory to ensure resort locations are supplied with clean linen. This role also communicates with leaders regarding inventory levels and the needs of the Laundry Team.

As a Laundry Attendant you will: 

  • Sort, pre-treat, and separate laundry by category for processing
  • Transfer linen from carts to conveyor belts and maintain pace with sorting operations
  • Fold laundry materials by hand or machine, including sheets, pillowcases, washcloths, towels, blankets, and bedspreads
  • Operate machines such as tower folders and ironing equipment to process quality linen
  • Fold blankets, duvets, and mattress pads according to size
  • Identify and remove stained or damaged linen from machines or folding areas and place in designated areas
  • Collect linen from conveyor belts and organize by item in designated storage areas
  • Feed linen into flatwork ironers and towel folders at a productive pace
  • Remove linen from washers and dryers, and hang, bag, fold, or bundle for delivery
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including daily cleaning of washers, dryers, and surrounding workspaces
  • Meet established productivity standards for linen processing
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Must be able to work in hot, humid conditions near loud, moving machine
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Bilingual, English/Spanish is a plus
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
