Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Linen Specialist, you will be responsible for providing and distributing Linen and Textile products and services throughout the facility as well as performing general Hospitality Associate, Environmental Services I duties when needed. 


 What you will do: 


  • Adhere to safety and linen/textile policies. 
  • Adhere to storage, handling and disposal of RMW (regulated medical waste), RCRA/Hazmat, solid waste and linen/textiles.  
  • Manage pars/quantities of linen/scrubs/microfiber products/curtains/other textiles  
  • Deliver linen/scrubs/microfiber products/curtains/other textiles to patient care/non-patient care areas  
  • Stock linen/scrubs/microfiber products/curtains/other textiles in patient care/non-patient care areas  
  • Pickup/removal/transport of linen/scrubs/microfiber products/curtains/other textiles  
  • Enter linen data into and generates reports from computerized linen management system 
  • Manage service recovery as needed 
  • Manage linen/textiles in order to meet/exceed facility linen expense and loss goals.  
  • Correctly utilize all supplies and resources at all times to eliminate waste.  
  • Collaborate with leadership on recommendations for patient experience improvement  
  • May include ordering linen/scrubs/microfiber products/curtains/other textiles  

 What you will need: 


  • High School Graduate or Equivalent. Preferred  
  • 1 + years of experience in healthcare Preferred  
  • 1 + years of experience in housekeeping or service-related field Preferred  
  • Computer, Electronic Tablets and basic technology skills Required
