Job description

The primary responsibility of the Linen Room Attendant is to transfer linen inventory from the linen receiving room to the linen storage rooms Linen Room Attendants provide friendly, courteous Family-Style Service to Team Members while performing and displaying a strong commitment to our service standards, safety procedures and standard operating procedures.  

Bugsy Siegel's desert dream, the Flamingo, has anchored the Las Vegas Strip since they started rolling dice in 1946.  More than sixty years later, we're still looking for fresh faces to help us surprise our guests with unexpected fun and excitement.  This inclusive resort provides you the perfect opportunity to entertain our guests as they stay in over 3,500 rooms and suites and play in our 77,000 square foot casino, and 15 acre backyard tropical retreat.  The confident and vivacious will find the Flamingo as the place to be.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Proficient in English verbal and written
  • Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Must be able to get along well with co-workers. Possess well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Union referral card required. 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Maintains professional appearance and demeanor throughout shift  
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing and walking for the duration of the shift, as well asbending,stooping, kneeling, climbing, and ascending/descending stairs.  
  • Work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks under time constraints.  
  • Ability to push and pull up to 700 pounds
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 100 pounds  
  • May use a step stool to reach high areas; must climb stairs and continuously balance, bend, stoop, and kneel.  
  • Mustfrequentlycrouch, squat, push/pull, work overhead with both arms, and use hands for continuous grasping.  
  • Must tolerate required PPE (gloves, safety glasses/goggles, etc.) and safelyoperatemotorized equipment.   
  • Follows all safety protocols and reports unsafe working conditions immediately  
  • Follows lost and found policies and procedures  
  • Plans, organizes and completes work timely
  • Takes initiatives, shows ownership and goes above and beyond to assist departmental needs
  • Accepts feedback and coaching from supervisors
  • Ensures linen supply levels are accurate.
  • Moves items from storage carts to shelves and transports to area for restocking.
