  • Multiple Shifts Available
  • Full and Part Time Shifts
  • Day Shift Thurs-Sun 6am-2:30pm
  • Eve Shift Mon-Fri 12pm-8pm
  • Eve Shift Thurs & Fri 1pm-7pm
  • $18-$22 an hour (DOE)
  • Food Handlers Permit required
  • CPR/First Aid required

Responsible for the setup, cleaning and delivery of meal service.
Requirements
  • Set main dining room with fresh linen, flowers, silverware, dishware and glasses prior to every
  • meal.
  • Ensure that all table condiment items are full and clean.
  • Responsible for the breakdown, cleaning, replenishing and the setup of the beverage stations
  • after each meal.
  • Clean dining room prior to every meal including crumb/clean/sanitize chairs and table bases and
  • vacuum. Dust, clean windows, window sills, etc; as needed.
  • Wash, dry and fold table linen daily if a linen service has not been contracted.
  • Preparation of food items, as needed,
  • Greet and seat all residents.
  • Provide and ensure a courteous, high quality delivery of meal and non-alcoholic beverage
  • service.
  • Clean and prepare menu board daily.
  • Wash dishes, as needed.
  • Assist residents with cutting food, eating and drinking as needed.
  • Assist residents to and from the dining room as needed.
  • Monitor resident attendance at each meal.
  • Monitor the resident special diet restrictions.
  • Deliver/pick up tray service.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitary practices.
  • Report any unusual incidents to the Food Service Director, Executive Director/General Manager
  • or Manager on Duty.
  • Respond and assist with any resident, staff, guest or community emergency.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to the prescribed uniform standards.
  • Assist with special events as needed.
  • Maintain all equipment in a clean and safe manner.
  • Attend all meetings that the Food Service Director, Executive Director/General Manager or
  • Manager on Duty deems necessary.
  • Any other duties as required by the Food Service Director, Executive Director/General Manager
  • or Manager on Duty.

4. Must possess strong oral, written and telephone skills.
5. Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
6. Must be in good health and physically/mentally capable of performing assigned tasks
7. Certified in First Aid/CPR
8. Obtain any permits or training required for the job
9. Possess knowledge of safe sanitation practices, safety practices and special diets.
10. Capable of meeting all requirements that may be specified by the state or other regulatory
agencies.
